Andrew Freeman - campaigning to help the blind
Blind people living in Mole Valley often have difficulty in accessing shops and medical and community facilities. They get little financial help. Lib Dem Councillor Andrew Freeman proposed at the October meeting of Mole Valley Council that the Council support the RNIB campaign to secure a higher mobility allowance for blind people and that the Government and local MPs be made aware of our concerns. The Council accepted the motion unanimously and will now give its backing to the campaign.
