Mole Valley District Council has finally signed the Nottingham declaration committing the Council to working with the community to develop a local action plan on climate change. This was agreed in 2007 but the paper was mysteriously "lost" within the Council offices. Pressure from Liberal Democrat Councillors Maurice Homewood and Caroline Salmon has led to it being 'found' again and it has now been signed by the Tory Leader of The Council.
