Keep our Food Waste Collections

To: Mole Valley District Council

Residents in Bookham and Fetcham have warmly welcomed taking part in a trial collection of food waste. The waste is recycled as compost, which is good for the environment, and the problem of smelly bins is reduced.

But Mole Valley District Council have now decided to abandon this scheme after funds from Surrey County Council were withdrawn.

We, the under-signed, call on Mole Valley District Council to re-instate the food waste collection scheme as soon as possible and to extend it rapidly to other areas of Mole Valley.

Thank you for your interest but we are no longer accepting signatures for this petition.
