Lib Dem surge in Mole Valley

County results across Mole Valley Constituency

The County Council elections saw a surge in support for the Liberal Democrats in our area, with the Party's vote climbing from 28% in 2013 to nearly 40% on May 4th. Liberal Democrat councillors Hazel Watson and Stephen Cooksey were re-elected with increased majorities.

Many residents expressed their anger at the Conservatives' appalling record in running Surrey County Council. Despite their "strong" majority, they have left a black hole in the finances, and are making huge cuts to vital services such as schools and social care.

With the Conservatives heading for a landslide win over Labour, the General Election here is not about who will rule the country - it's about who will stand up for our area, provide real opposition to Tory cuts and reflect the views of the majority here who voted for Remain or wanted a soft Brexit.

Now more than ever we need an energetic and independent-minded MP who will hold local and national government to account on our behalf. Paul Kennedy will stand up for our area even if our current Tory MP won't.

Only Paul Kennedy Can Beat the Tories Here!
