HectorHector has been a resident in Ashtead since 2014 and is proud to be a part of this warm and friendly community.

Hector is a biomedical researcher and lecturer who heads a laboratory based at a leading London university hospital. His group investigates new treatments and clinical tests for diseases such as cancer. Hector is passionate about getting more investment into UK science, education and healthcare. He is particularly concerned with long waiting times and limited provision for those needing mental health support, especially for children and young people.

Hector will, if elected, work hard to ensure that a wider range of residents' views on key local issues such as housing, transport and schools are heard. He believes that too many voters are being ignored and support for the status quo taken for granted. Hector wants to offer residents a choice in this election, to have different voice with an open mind represent them at Mole Valley District Council. He will listen to your concerns and will be dedicated to finding solutions which work.

Hector is married with two young children, who attend school and nursery in Ashtead.
