Save Surrey's sexual health clinics

Surrey's Sexual Health clinics provide vital services covering sexually transmitted infection, genito-urinary medicine and contraception. They limit the spread of sexually transmitted infections, such as HIV, protect young people's health and reduce teenage pregnancies, significantly cutting the costs of our local health and care services. Most of these, including those at Leatherhead and Epsom, are now facing closure leaving just 3 clinics for the whole of Surrey.

We, the undersigned, call on Surrey County Council and their contractors Central and North-West London NHS Trust to undertake to keep the clinic in Leatherhead open for young people in the surrounding area and to postpone any other closures of Sexual Health Clinics in the County until proper consultation has been carried out.
