Bradley Nelson elected in Holmwoods & Beare Green

Bradley Nelson was elected as the new Liberal Democrat councillor for Holmwoods & Beare Green in the by-election on 20th March. He joins fellow Lib Dems Claire Malcomson and Rosemary Hobbs as the ward's councillors on Mole Valley District Council.
Despite strong opposition from the Conservatives and Reform UK, the Liberal Democrats' share of the vote increased slightly compared to the election in 2024.
The votes cast were :
- Bradley Nelson (Lib Dem): 748
- Conservative Party: 437
- Reform UK: 348
- Green Party: 76
The result restores the Liberal Democrats' position at Mole Valley, holding 31 of the 39 seats.
