Transform Leatherhead Plans progress

Following the consultation last year on proposals for the Swan Centre and Bull Hill, the Joint Venture partners (MVDC and Kier) have been working hard to amend the proposals to increase the amount of green space on Bull Hill, while retaining the benefits that the development brings.
The new scheme was presented at the TL Forum on 12 February with a further public consultation to follow shortly after.
Cllr. Keira Vyvyan-Robinson, Cabinet Member responsible for TL said, “Kier have really listened to the feedback from the first public consultation and have made significant changes to the proposals while trying to retain the many benefits the development will bring: increased footfall, greater accessibility between the station and the town centre, and financial benefits to the Town and District as a whole.
“I shared those proposals at the Forum on 12 February 2025. We hope that a planning application will follow in the Summer of 2025, with development to start in 2027.”
