Clayton Wellman for the Holmwoods

Clayton Wellman

Clayton Wellman is well known as a champion of the Holmwoods who works hard and gets results: supporting our residents, helping our workers & businesses, investing in our future, and protecting our environment. Re-elect him, and keep the Liberal Democrat Holmwoods Councillor team together this May. Clayton has worked tirelessly to support residents and develop new, productive relationships with our Housing Associations, which have resulted in improvement works, an employment skills hub & outreach service, and a new tenant association.

As a Cabinet Member, under Clayton's leadership, new car park permits are being launched this year for residents, small businesses and low paid workers that will cut up to £345 a year off the old prices. He championed a wide range of business and town centre support through the pandemic including town centre entertainment, business training and the Friday market. Clayton is leading the installation of 90 Electric Vehicle Charge Points across Mole Valley car parks and major new investment of £1 million to make huge improvements to our local car parks this year. Clayton fought the drilling on Leith Hill in Village Halls, Planning Meetings and with DEFRA.

His letters with fellow Holmwoods Councillor Claire Malcomson to the Secretary of State urging the Forestry Commission to withdraw its assent as landowner were eventually heeded. As a leader on the Council alongside fellow Holmwood Councillors Claire Malcomson & Rosemary Hobbs, your Holmwoods Councillor team is a formidable force fighting for you.

Re-elect Clayton Wellman this May 5th.
