I live in Ashtead and have brought my family up here. My children all attended local schools and I now teach children with special needs.

I was a Mole Valley District Councillor from 2012-2016 and during that time chaired the Access group ensuring that people with disabilities had their concerns heard and action was taken to meet their needs. I was also a board member of Mole Valley Housing Association and was on several council committees and working groups.

Since leaving the council I have been a governor of Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust, the school and college at Young Epilepsy and a Trustee of Leatherhead United Charities.

I care about enabling disadvantaged people to have their voices heard, protecting our special environment and improving and maintaining our services and as a member of the council I would be in a position to take action on this.
